Diego holds a Bachelor Degree in Music from Universiad del Valle in Santiago de Cali, Colombia under the tutelage of Master Charles Fredrick Hood III. He has completed masterclasses with Henryk Sarsisky, Mintcho Vadev, Luisaviet fuentes, Ana Ruth Bermudez, Leandro Vandres, Gabriel Guzman and Andres Diaz. Between 2012 and 2014 he lived in Caracas, Venezuela where he continued his Cello studies with Master William Molina Cestari and Master Cesar Noguera at the Latin American Violoncello Academy. He has performed with Teresa Carreño ( Venezuela ) Santiago de Cali Philarmonic Orchestra ( Colombia ) National Symphony Orchestra ( United Arab Emirates ). He worked as a Supernumerary of the Santiago de Cali Philarmonic Orchestra and the Loyola Musical Group. He also taught Cello at Andino College ( Deutsche Schule ) in Bogota City. Recently he finished his work in Singapore for the Wolfgang Violin Studio as a Senior Teacher. Diego prides himself on his pedagogical work and stylistic versatility with the cello.
