ABOUT

Miguel Mendoza has joined our teaching team as a drum and percussion teacher for students of all ages. Miguel is a young Brisbane-based drummer who has had passion for music his entire life and is a recent graduate of the Jazz Music Institute (JMI) where he is also an instructor. Miguel is comfortable working in a range of musical styles such as jazz, funk, metal, soul, punk rock and improv. Overall, his teaching style aims to deliver a technical approach to drumming to give students an overall grasp of the instrument, while still formatting lessons to suit student skills, experience and learning styles.
